Open Share Guidelines for Social Media

1. Keep your sharing focused on your own thoughts and feelings.1. Post about your experiences in CR, not what someone else may have been

going through.

2. There is NO Cross-Talk1. Avoid having your feed turn into a back and forth.

2. Take it offline or back channel if further discussion is warranted.

3. We are here to support, not fix.

4. Offensive language has no place here.1. Avoid graphic descriptions

Open Share Guidelines (cont.)

5. Anonymity and Confidentiality are an absolute requirement• Refer to Guideline 1 – post only about your own thoughts and feelings.

• You’re the only one who can waive your own anonymity and confidentiality.

• “Sally gave a great testimony tonight, you should have heard it” – BAD

• “Heard a great testimony tonight, I could really relate to the struggles with self-esteem that were shared.” - BETTER

• Avoid posting group pictures unless you are absolutely sure you have permission to show them. (Consider Waivers)

• If someone shares a struggle with you based on your post, take the discussion to private messaging or offline to protect them (even if they are not yet a part of your CR group)
