The Field Management of Chemical and Biological Casualties Course (FCBC) is the best training of its kind in the world. Don't take our word for it; ask the Government Accountability Office or one of your buddies who has taken the course. FCBC isn't another one of those PowerPoint™ torture chambers; this is a fun class. Sure, you spend some time in the classroom, but we know what you want: Hands on learning and time in the field. During the five day course at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, yourthreedaysoffieldtraining include lab time, procedure practice and three FTX events. You will perform "Mega Codes" in our simulation center using the newest and most advanced simulators Government money can buy. You will also be part of a team that prepares for the next really bad day in WMD land. There are no tuition fees. TDY requests are funded locally. Civilian personnel are welcome and encouraged to attend. Credits available: EMT /NREMT attending will receive 36.5 Continuing Education Hours (CEH). Course counts for promotion points and can be placed on ERB. The HM-CBRNE course represents an advanced

level education and training opportunity. It offers

healthcare professionals up-to-date and hands

on instruction aimed at preparation for and

management of casualties following a major

WMD incident. Designed for civilian and

military healthcare managers and providers,

course content is presented by leading

authorities in biological, chemical, radiation

and incident management. Applying hospital

level objectives - clinical and non-clinical,

the HM-CBRNE course features interactive

seminar discussions and dynamic exercises.

Content is focused on facilitating mitigation of

existing and potential gaps in hospital operations

during a major WMD event. Functional knowledge

gained may be applied to routine and crisis hospital operations

as well.This educational activity provides a unique opportunity

to engage professionals from across the nation who face

similar incident challenges.
