I am Cátia Silva, a teacher who became an event planner after ten years of sharing knowledge and love with children. 

Born and raised in Entroncamento, a tiny city in the center of Portugal, soon I discovered I wanted to travel the world. I taught in Angola, Lisbon, Macau and Mozambique.Completely in love with aesthetic, composition and photography, I decided to follow my heart and do what I love most everyday: create new ambiences and unforgettable moments in people’s life. Bad Bad Maria Productions and Crafts was my first project as an entrepreneur. So far, I have planned more than eighty events, where each one was different and personalized according to the client’s wishes. Weddings are my biggest dream of all times. Being part of it is my utmost desire.

Having a communication as a main skill of my character was not difficult for me to develop a good relationship with clients and vendors. Organization and problem-solving are other skills that I developed in this business. Normally as a free lancer I have a lot of last minutes events and I always manage to be a perfect one.

Driven by passion for colorful and vibrant imagery I started to design my own Party Props. Through illustrator I was able to create new ideas and make my clients quite pleased with the personalized details.
