Therapeutic Infusion SystemsMerit Medical offers a complete line of catheter-directed thrombolysis products. The 4 and 5 French

Fountain® Infusion Systems are available with the Squirt® fluid dispensing system or with an infusion

system containing a high pressure check-relief valve and infusion syringe. Both systems contain an

AccessPlus™ hemostasis valve and a 20 mL reservoir syringe. The Fountain infusion catheter delivers

thrombolytic agents for uniform, high-pressure jets of thrombolic agents. The catheter side ports rotate

circumferentially around the catheter and along the entire length of the infusion segment providing a

uniform dispersion of the agent within the thrombus.

Coaxial IntroducersMerit MAK™ mini access kits provide access to the vascular system and facilitate the placement of 0.035”

(0.89 mm) or 0.038” (0.97 mm) guide wires. The MAK’s smaller size minimizes bleeding and trauma to

the surrounding tissue. Kits are available in 4 and 5 French and include the coaxial introducer/dilator pair, a

21-gauge needle, and 0.018” (0.46 mm) guide wire. For your convenience, all kit components are available

as sterile standalone. Merit MAK guide wires are available in many configurations to meet specific clinical

needs. Guide wires are packaged in a fully enclosed hoop to ensure they are protected and ready for use.
