Our mission is to export to the world the most amazing Italian wines that until now, would only be used for local consumption. The Tuia lebel represents a commitment to the land, and the techniques of old Italian winemaking tradi-tions. When Alfredo Di Marcantonio began searching for a farm in Italy, he and his wife, Laura, fell in love with the landscape, the vineyards, and a dog named Tuai. Tuia was a dog that loved to come and visit, and share companionship

to name their vineyard Tuia. In it’s mind Tuia, is the real owner of the vineyard. Using the best of Italy’s obscure winemakers and the most traditional winema-

climate where they were produced. Tuia’s philosophy is all about getting back to our roots, and our deep connect to the land.

Tuia was founded by the Di Marcantonio

family in Italy, who wanted to bring

together the best undiscovered vineyards on

the Italian peninsula.

The Marche region, which is nestled between the Appenine Mountains to the west and the Adriatic Sea to the east, is the hilliest region of Italy. While not one of Italy’s most renowned regions, the natural beauty and serenity of this relatively sparsely populated area boasts many hidden treasures. From the spectacularly pristine Conero National Park overlooking the Adriatic coast just outside of Ancona, the Marche’s capital city, to breathtaking walled cities perched on hilltops throughout the region, the Marche offers a wide range of attractions for those willing to stray from the beaten path and explore this land rich with culture and traditions. A growing number of tourists are discovering such noteworthy destinations as Urbino, with its Renaissance architecture, and Ascoli Piceno, with its historic center built entirely of travertine stone, while the Marche’s picturesque beaches and majestic hilltop hamlets regale visitors with a sense of peace and natural beauty.

The Marche’s unique mixture of mountains, hills and coastal lowlands make it a particularly fertile land for producing great wines. Fourteen DOC wines and two DOCG wines are made from a variety of grapes native to the region: from recently rediscovered grapes like Pecorino and Passerina to classics like Red Conero, Lacrima, Vernaccia and the prestigious Verdic-chio. From this wealth of resources come spectacular white wines with intense, fruity flavors and mellow, full-bodied reds.
