Die Temperaturbestndigkeit liegt wesentlich ber derbisher bekannter Kunststoffelektrorohre, wodurch zahlrei-che neue Einsatzgebiete erschlossen werden (Klimatech-nik, Beleuchtung usw.)

Biegen und VermuffenDie hochschmelzende Kunststofflegierung erfordertbesondere Gerte zur Bearbeitung von HFT-Rohren. Es istdaher auf der Baustelle nicht mglich, HFT-Stangenrohreselbst zu biegen oder aufzumuffen.Ein komplettes Sortiment an Steckmuffen und Steckbgenist jedoch lieferbar, wodurch eine rasche und betriebssi-chere Montage gewhrleistet ist.

KlebeverbindungenWasserdichte Rohrverbindungen bei HFT-Stangenrohrenknnen durch Verkleben der Verbindungen mit HFT-Spezialkleber "HVKS 310" hergestellt werden. Die Rohremssen dabei frei von mechanischen Spannungen seinund beweglich (Gleitsitze!) montiert werden, um Ri-bildungen an den Klebestellen durch temperaturbedingteLngennderungen des Rohrsystems zu verhindern. Beidnnwandigen Rohren ist die Klebetechnik zu vermeidenbzw. bedarf es besonders sorgfltiger Verlegung.

Einziehen von Kabel und LeitungenWerden Einziehhilfen bentigt empfehlen wir die Verwen-dung eines von uns geprften Kabel-Gleitmittels. AndereEinziehhilfen (z.B. Vaseline) knnen Ribildung auslsen!PVC-Kabel vermeiden (Weichmacher kann bei erhhtenTemperaturen ausdampfen).

Ablngen von HFT-RohrenHFT-Rohre knnen mit Sge, Kabelmesser oder mit einerSchneidezange abgelngt werden.

The high temperature resistance markedly improves theoperational reliability of electrical systems thus opening awide range of application possibilities (air samplingsystems, lighting, ...)

Bending of HFT-conduitBecause of the high temperature resistant plastic alloy ofHFT-conduits it is not possible to bend the HFT-rigidconduits when being installed by using steel bendingsprings. It is, therefore, required to use special devices forbending HFT-conduitsWe supply a complete range of bends and couplers whichguarantee a quick and safe installation.

Connecting of HFT-conduitWatertight connections can be made with HFT-rigidconduits by using our special HFT-sealing-cement"HVKS310". It has to be noted that conduits have to beinstalled free from mechanical stresses and flexible. Thuscracks at the bonded areas can be avoided in case theconduit system is expanding or contracting due totemperature changes. Especially in case of conduits withthin walls t is recommended not to use the cement or onlywhen mounted very carefully.

Drawing-in of cables and wiresIn case drawing-in aids are required, we recommend theuse of cable-lubricant (Polywater GL35) tested by us. Otheraids (like vaseline) can cause cracks. Avoid PVC-cables,as softening agents in the material can evaporate at highertemperatures.

UNIVOLT-Supertube compliments the widerange of our halogenfree Cable Manage-ment System. Virtually everywhere whereconventional metal or plastic conduit isused, Supertube is finding its application.The conduit is made of a welded aluminiumtube with inner and outer layers ofhalogenfree polyethylene and combines thestrength of metal with the flexibility andinsulating characteristics of plastic. Coilscan be carried and laid with ease, no bendsare required, as it is bent by hand or ahand held bending tool for straight runs onsurface.The conduit is flame retardant, halogenfreeand has low smoke density and can beused with the HFT-range of fittings.

The lengths per drum vary from 1000m (minimum) per drum to 4000m(maximum) per drum depending on the dimensions of the ductings and the type of coiling or wrapping.Upon special request and terms of delivery we also supply ductings in different colours with different longitudinalcoloured stripes and markings for applications where the cabling systems need to be distinguished.
