Innovative esthetic implant concepts should considertooth-by-tooth replacement as early as possible.FRIALIT®, the first root-analog implant geometry in theworld, offers perfect esthetics of peri-implant soft tissues,excellent prosthetic results and long-term success.Following nature’s design, FRIALIT® implants steppeddesign ensures an optimum transfer of occlusal forces.The anatomical diameters allow support of the alveolarbone, reconstruction of the interproximal space andmaintenance of the papillae. Perforating the buccal plateor injuring converging roots during surgery can beavoided since the apical end of the implant is narrower.The implant-abutment connection provides the utmost instability with long parallel-walled sections to resist lateralforces and a deep internal hex to prevent rotation.

Macro-design

All FRIADENT® implants are packed in gamma sterilized,sealed transparent double vials. An adhesive label sealsthe color-coded cap with the non-sterile outer vial. Theblister is also non-sterile.

A successful implant placement requires precise andcareful implant site preparation. Therefore, please followour recommendations for drilling exactly.

FRIALIT® Twist Drills and Stepped DrillsFRIALIT® Twist Drills and Stepped Drills are used at800 rpm. In very dense cortical bone the diameter5.5 mm and 6.5 mm stepped drills are used at amaximum speed of 400 to 500 rpm. During thepreparation make sure drills are adequately internallyand externally irrigated.

FRIALIT® Cortical DrillDense cortical bone (type I bone)frequently exhibits elastic forces afterimplant site preparation.Additional preparation of the topstep with the FRIALIT® Cortical Drillcan compensate for this effect.

The FRIALIT® Cortical Drill gentlyexpands the implant site asrequired by increasing the diameter

of the first step by 1/10 mm andthus allows for an easy and atraumatic implant insertionavoiding a too high insertion torque.

FRIALIT® BoneCondenserIn cases of poor bone quality, FRIALIT® BoneCondenserscan be used for lateral and apical implant sitecondensation. This improvement of bone quality andquantity enhances primary implant stabilization.
