Jim White was a cowboy .One night he was surprised to see a black cloud coming out of the land .The black cloud was thousands of bats flying out of the entrance of a cave. Then he looked down and saw a very big cave. When he went underground , he saw something very exciting . The cave had a lot of stalagmites and stalactites. The view was amazing!!!He had discovered the CARLSBAD CAVERNS.He worked in this discovery for over 24 years. Since1930 the Carlsbad Caverns are a National Park.
