A primary objective of the UK Government’s National Cyber Security Strategy is to make the UK a safer place to conduct online business.
The Cyber Essentials Scheme is a UK Government backed certification which
allows businesses to demonstrate to customers, investors, insurers and others that they have implemented essential security controls to manage their cyber risk.
As of October 2014, this is now a mandatory requirement for many Central Government contracts and supply chains.
