  • Description of the Different Camping Opportunities in Glaciers Edge

    Day Camp 3 Days of Fun Day Camp is a three-day program offering with supervised recreational and craft activities for Cub Scouts at all ranks.

    Participants have the ability to try a variety of advanced activities including Archery and BB Gun Ranges along with activities in building, creating and exploring.

    Overnight Camp 2 Days of Epicness This is intended to provide a more compact Cub Scout Camping experience.

    Scouts will have the opportunity to do some of the program offerings including Aquatics. This is a great way to try out the program.

    Sleep Over Camp 4 Days of Adventure The ultimate and complete Cub Scout Camping experience including Climbing Wall, Aquatics, Archery Range and the BB Gun Range as well as Nature and Scout Skills programs.

    4 Days of Exploration August 2 - 5

    Arrow of Light Scouts stay overnight at Ed Bryant Scout Reservation where they participate in activities focused on transitioning to a Scouts BSA Troop.

  • Cub Scout Day Camp WHILE DESIGNED TO PREPARE YOUNGER SCOUTS AND PARENTS FOR SLEEPOVER CAMP, DAY CAMP IS OPEN TO ANY CUB SCOUT RANK.

  • 2020 Day Camp Dates Session 1 - June 15-17 – Token Creek (DeForest)

    Session 2 - June 29-July 1 – Camp Indian Trails

    Session 3 - July 13-15 – Camp Indian Trails

    Session 4 - August 3-5 – Camp Indian Trails

    Session 5 - August 5-7 – Camp Indian Trails

    *Registration begins at 8 am and camp

    concludes at 4 pm each day.

  • A Day At Day Camp

    ❖ Scouts are placed in Dens by Scout Rank and Pack.

    ❖ An Opening Ceremony begins and a Closing Ceremony ends each day.

    ❖ Each day has three rotations in the morning and three rotations in the afternoon.

    ❖ Rotations include activities in Crafts, Nature, Shooting Sports, Field Games and Theme Specific Stations daily!

    THE 2020 CAMP THEME IS: ALIEN INVASION!

  • A Day At Day Camp (Continued) ❖ Activities are designed to be Cub Scout

    Age appropriate.

    ❖ Consideration is made for older and younger Scouts with a specific Webelos/AOL Track

    ❖ Open Programming is Built into the Daily Schedule.

    ❖ A Campfire Program is held at the end of the Camp.

    ❖ Day Camps at Camp Indian Trails now provides Lunch.

    ► Wolf – Running with the Pack

    ► Bear – Marble Madness

    ► Webelos Program ► Webelos & Arrow of Light – Build It!

    ► All Scouts ► Shooting Sports for BB, Archery and Slingshot

    Please Remember when registering Scouts for Camp that the Rank for participation is the Rank for the 2020-2021 Scout Year!

  • Leadership at Day Camp ► Minimum of 2 leaders

    needed per pack ► Parents can also attend

    individually with Scouts ► Siblings are allowed to

    attend camp with Family Members

    ► Tigers must attend with an Adult Partner

    ► Help guide the group from station to station

    ► Ensure Youth Protection guidelines are followed at all times

    ► Assist and Support Camp Staff as Needed

  • Costs

    Day Camp Registration Is $115 per Scout

    Youth price reflects if paid by March 31, 2020.

    Payments received after March 31, 2020 will include an added $25 late fee.

    Payments received after May 1, 2020 will be assessed an additional $25 fee.

    Adults - $15 (Only charged at CIT Sessions Because Lunch is Being Served)

    New For 2020: Lunch will be provided for Day Camps at Camp Indian Trails for all attendees

  • Overnight Camp OVERNIGHT CAMP IS A NEW OFFERING FOR 2020 AND IS A MICROCOSM OF THE CAMP INDIAN TRAILS PROGRAM AND CUB SCOUT CAMP WORLD!

  • 2020 Overnight Camp Dates

    Session 1 – June 20-21                                

    Session 2 – July 4-5

    Session 3 – July 11-12

    Session 4 – July 18-19

    * Registration begins at 9 am on the first day

    and camp concludes by 3 pm on the second

    day.

    ❖ An Opening Ceremony begins and a Closing Ceremony ends each day.

    ❖ Evening Activities include field games, planned hikes and open programming.

    ❖ Activities are designed to be Cub Scout Age appropriate with consideration for older and younger Cub Scouts.

  • A Day At Overnight Camp (Continued) ❖ Meals start with lunch on the first day and end with lunch and the second day. Meals are all served in Allen Hall.

    ❖ If you have any medical dietary restrictions, please communicate them to the Camp Director.

    ❖ A Scouts Own Service is held during Camp.

    ❖ A Campfire Program is held at night. It is a highlight of Camp.

    ❖ The afternoon of the second day is geared towards open programming and is an opportunity to try everything!

  • Leadership at Camp

    ► Packs must provide a minimum of 2 leaders, and maintain a ratio of 1 Adult per 4 Scouts.

    ► Parents can also attend individually with Scouts

    ► Siblings are allowed to attend camp with Family Members

    ► Tigers must attend with an Adult Partner

    ► Guide Scouts from station to station

    ► Ensure Youth Protection guidelines are followed at all times

    ► Assist and Support Camp Staff as Needed
