How do we form the Present Perfect Tense?

We use auxiliary verb have or has and the past participle of the main verb.

Contracted forms.

1 I have never seen him before. → I’ve never seen him before.2 We have arrived. → We’ve arrived.3 He has left. → He’s left.

In negative forms we use haven’t (have not) or hasn’t (has not)

Grammar – focus on the meaning

1. We use the present perfect to talk about experiences:
