Step-by-step guide for doing.

Requires Chief Administrative Officer approval.

Policy, Bylaw or Procedure

1. Over the past few months, a number of delegations

have appeared before council requesting

donations for a variety of different reasons; charity

fundraisers, financial support for youth initiatives,

etc. Council has asked administration to provide

some background on a more efficient way to deal

with these requests.

2. A new OH & S supervisor has been hired and is

updating all safety requirements for all municipal

facilities. Emergency evacuation is his number 1

priority.

3. Council has directed administration that, due to

the increase in vandalism at Central Park, they

wish to restrict the hours to the public from 6:00

a.m. to 11:00 p.m. 23

Policy, Bylaw or Procedure

4. Council and administration are desirous in

having a more consistent approach in

reporting and communicating between them.

5. Current fees and rates are not keeping pace

with the costs to provide programs and

services.

6. Council has approved a snow removal policy

determining which routes will be cleared

first, second, etc. Is this enough?
