By BRASSET Juliette &
MOTTET Lola.
Edward VI was his name,And his mother was Jane,
She was the 3rd wife of Henry,His two sisters were Elizabeth and Mary.
He was born in 1537 under the only sunbeam of autumn,As soon as he was nine, he became king of his kingdom.
He was from the house of the Tudors,And one of the best protectors
His father had planned for him to marryThe queen of Scots, the beautiful Mary
In a church, he changed it all,
From Latin to the language of the peopleMass was then given in English
It was a big change for the British.
He was always linked to GodFrom his birth to his last breath
Never had he followed the steps of MacbethAnd that’s why his people were awed.
Edward died in Greenwich palace,Tuberculosis took him away
But he couldn’t care lessTo a better place he was already on his way.
