Sprinter has been called “the working Mercedes-Benz,” a vehicle that has been refined over the course of a century and is the van of choice for tradesmen, craftsmen, and artisans.

In 2015, Mercedes-Benz has introduced the only commercial van in Canada that offers a true 4 x 4 system – the Sprinter 4x4. Its features include:• Adaptive ESP/4ETS electronic traction system at the push of a button; • 4X4 Low Range low-gear differential to help navigate harsh winter conditions, steep grades, and difficult off-road terrain; • Downhill Speed Regulation (DSR) that works with the system’s low-range gear to slow the vehicle down to a set speed during tricky downhill grades. • Minimum Weight Impact for traction needed without sacrificing payload capacity or fuel efficiency. • Higher Ride Height up to 10 cm (3.9 in) on the front axle, and up to 7.5 cm (3 in) on the rear axle. • Reinforced stabilizers on the front and rear axles.

In addition to the Sprinter 4x4 Cargo Van, the Sprinter 4X4 is available as a Passenger Van – the only commercial passenger van also designed to negotiate even the toughest weather.

Other vans in the Mercedes-Benz line-up include the Sprinter 2500 and 3500 Cargo Vans and 2500 Passenger Vans as well as the Sprinter 3500 Cab Chassis.

The Metris, a mid-size utility van will be launching in Canada later this year. Known as the Vito in other parts of the world, the Metris will be sure to follow in the Sprinter’s successful footsteps.

With more than 25 different models available, all Sprinter vans are fully custom-izable with a wide range of accessories as well as add-ons from Sprinter Preferred Upfitters.
