    P He restores my soul.

C He leads me in paths of righteousnessfor his names sake.

This is how God showed his love among us:He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

    1 John 4:9 (NIV 1984)

    Dear Members of Grace Lutheran,

We would like to thank you once again for all your support as we prepare to go tothe National Youth Gathering this summer. Through your financial aid, your words ofencouragement, and your prayers on our behalf you have been such a blessing to us. A

highlight of our fundraising was the Pancake Lunch that was held this past Sunday whichincluded the silent auction. At the lunch the Youth flipped pancakes and poured drinks asour guests ate, and it seemed as though everyone had a wonderful time. We announcedthe closing of the silent auction there as well and drew names from a box for a coupleextra prizes. We joyfully report that through this single event over $1,700 was raised, and we will receive matching funds of $600 from Thrivent. This is an overwhelmingdisplay of your generosity, and it helps us greatly come closer to our goal. As the idea ofgoing to San Antonio this July becomes more realistic our anticipation continues to grow,

especially for the seven of us planning on making the trip.

Thank you so much for helping us!

    In Christ, the Grace Youth
