Building accountable and effective governments that enable the poorest, most marginalized and vulnerable women and men in east asia to claim their rights and to access quality services and economic opportunities
What we want to achieve? 15 million women within poor and
marginalised communities in the East Asia region will exercise their voice and achieve equal, appropriate and effective access to government provided services, resources and protection.
How we will do
Undertake power analysis. Adopt “one programme approach” Use mix of advocacy and social
accountability tools as appropriate

The men and women living in poverty. Civil Society Organizations at local, national and regional levels. Local and national Governments and their agencies. Engage with Governments of developed nations whenever
required. Regional institutions (ASEAN, ADB and Civil Societies) and Global
institutions. Elected/representative bodies at local and national level Relevant corporate business Donors Middle class citizens Academic and research institutes, media agencies
How will we monitor our work
Women’s representative organisations, CSO’s, communities and women themselves are able to hold local and national government accountable for the effective delivery of policy and practise which supports and promotes the attainment of women’s rights.

which deliver against and promote women’s rights
Increased budget allocation towards the effective delivery of public services which specifically address the rights and needs of poor women
