Leaders In Training (LIT): This camp is for the young person who is ready to engage their leadership skills while gaining hands on experience. Our young leaders will engage in daily activities and discussions centered around leadership and individuality. LITs will work on mentoring younger campers by assisting with activity and games.

Our LIT campers will get the opportunity to attend two off-site field trips each week – one for fun and one for fulfillment. Teens will bond with other campers during group outings and exploration. Teens will also get to understand the meaning of community involvement by engaging in volunteer-activated trips. They will also swim on Wednesdays and Fridays. This camp presents the opportunity to join our year-round leadership program called, Teen Leaders’ Club. This program focuses on engaging teens in leadership activities, while also developing and enhancing their financial awareness, physical fitness, and community involvement. Our Teen Leaders’ Club offers teens the chance to travel, go on retreats with other YMCA Teen Leaders’ clubs, as well as prep them for career and college opportunities. If you are interested in getting your teen involved in our Teen Leaders’ Club, please contact our Camp/Teen Director, Brandon Hamilton at [email protected].
