We are finally able to present a mobile fine screening station that will match the output capacity of modern crushing plants. The screen does have the capacity to handle a huge material flow, but also has the scalping accuracy that will meet all requirements.

The screen-box is designed in cooperation with Skako. The screen-ing area is almost 11 m2 on each deck, but the overall format is still manageable. The operating costs are the lowest in the market thanks to the electrical drive. All solutions in the machine are developed with the operator in mind, taking user-friendliness to the next level.

Mobile productivity, the new chapter

Heavy-duty chassisThe S 1803 is mounted on a sturdy chassis construction of welded girders on a triple bogie. A strong structure that provides excep-tional operation and towing stability. During operation the plant rests on six individual hydraulic jacking legs. The screen and the onboard catwalks are placed on a rugged foldable bridge which is lowered for transport or when changing meshes.

The SFI 3-108 screenSorting is carried out in a new screen box designed by Maskin Mekano in collaboration with Skako. The triple deck single axle

screen box is two bearing with a screening surface on each deck of 6x1.8 m. It has a powerful circular stroke (9 mm), a 18° incline and operates at scarcely 960 rpm.

The upper deck is side tensioned and the lower decks are end tensioned. Accessibility to the screen box for ease of maintenance and change of meshes is further enhanced by a new construction of the chutes, which are mounted on a sliding unit.

Changing meshes is performed when the screen is levelled hori-zontally, so the rear catwalk can be used for access to the rear end.

Smooth stockpilingThe S 1803 is fitted with four onboard conveyors for great stock-piling capability. All conveyors are fully integrated and hydrauli-cally folded without any twisting of belts, set-up time is less than 10 minutes. The motorized pulleys are gummed for operating security even in bad weather.

Electric drive for low costs and securityAll Maskin Mekano plants are electrically driven which means their diesel consumption is up to 60% lower than hydraulically driven plants. Noise impact is reduced to a minimum. The electri-

cal cabinet is fitted with sockets for interlocking with crusher or extra conveyors, providing possibility to stop these units via the emergency stops on the S 1803.

Safe investmentBecause of the rugged construction a Maskin Mekano plant keeps the value like no other plant. The outstanding capacity and low operating costs make the investment profitable. The high second-hand value makes it safe. All wear and spare parts are stored in Jönköping and all customers are given professional advise and support from our service engineers.
