About our Naturalist Educators

Our staff have extensive experience with both natural history and teaching children. One staff can lead up to 15 Scouts. Certified Merit Badge Counselors Staff are certified merit badge counselors in all merit badge programs we offer.

Scout leaders/chaperones should plan on assisting the Naturalist Educator with group management.

In these programs, the goal is to complete the number of requirements listed in the Boy Scout book, but we do not provide the actual badge.

Where are programs held?

The majority of our programs take place outside, so please dress appropriately. If weather makes outdoor activities unsafe, we will modify or reschedule the program.

When can I schedule a program?

Days We schedule programs for Saturdays, starting at 10:00 am, and weekdays after school. Sundays times depend on instructor availability. We are closed Mondays. Time All programs must end by 6:00 p.m., unless it is an evening program.

Scheduling a Program

What are the program fees?

Day programs Up to 2 hrs $85.00 first 10 people (8 Scouts, 2 chaperones) Each additional Scout or adult is $8.50 Over 2 hours to 3 hours $95.00 first 10 people (8 Scouts, 2 chaperones) Each additional Scout or adult is $9.50 Evening programs (1.5 hours) $110.00 first 10 people (8 Scouts, 2 chaperones) Each additional Scout or adult is $11.00
