Charge Air CoolersBowman produces Charge Air Coolers for test and development engines of up to 650kW. Units designed for specific engines are also available.

Engine and Gearbox Oil CoolersOur Engine Oil Coolers are equally suitable for cooling torque converter, automatic transmission and engine oils. The water cool design eliminates accidental damage and encourages quicker warming up of the oil. The fully floating tube stack minimises thermal stresses and is easily removed for cleaning.

Fuel CoolersBowman fuel coolers are designed for modern engines with high pressure fuel injection systems. The range has cupro-nickel tubes to promote long life expectancy.

Header Tank Heat ExchangersThe Header Tank Heat Exchanger range covers a wide range of test bed cooling applications including production test facilities and fuel testing rigs. The tube stacks are designed to minimise thermal stresses and can be easily removed for cleaning.

Engine Transmission CoolersBowman Engine & Transmission Oil Coolers are equally suitable for cooling torque converter, automatic transmission and engine oils. Being water cooled they have the advantage of freedom from accidental damage and also encourage quicker warming up of the oil. The fully floating tube stack minimises thermal stresses are minimised and is easily removed for cleaning.

Stainless Steel Heat ExchangersBowman Stainless Steel Heat Exchangers are particularly useful in bad water environments and can also be used to overcome the corrosive nature of some synthetic oils and refrigerants. The standard product range is suitable for cooling heat loads of up to 838 kW.

Exhaust Gas Heat ExchangersBowman Exhaust Gas Heat Exchangers remove heat from the exhaust gas of engines and transfer it to the water circuit to enable waste heat recovery. The range is suitable for use with Biogas, Diesel Gases and Natural Gases
