We are shapers and artists based out of San Francisco, California. We exclusively support skateboarders for our artwork and shape skateboards for all types of skateboarding because for us it is all Bonzing!

To prevent deforestation our boards are pressed in California using FSC Certified wood and a portion of every sale goes directly back to the shaper and artist who created it.

Team rider Adrian Da Kine shaped and created the artwork for this surf inspired double kick that balances stability and maneuverability for shredding in the urban environment. Whether Adrian is going 40mph, smashing the park or diving into the crevices of San Francisco he does it all on this 17in. wheelbase skateboard.

“I shaped this board to be a shredder of all terrain. The 17” wheelbase lets me stand with my feet above the trucks and shoulder width apart. Great for going fast on soft wheels or hitting transition on hard wheels. The boards widest point is 9.25” and is lined up with the forward truck to keep you steady on your front foot and a square tail gives you plenty of space for the back foot to lock in when sliding or slashing coping. Wheel wells give that extra clearance for a leany setup. The total length measures in at 34”. I could have put a big old nose on the front but I kept it surfy, old school, and on the smaller side but plenty space to catch your foot when you ollie.

“This graphic brings together some of my favorite visual items: Simple lettering, intricate line patterns, and bright colors. What used to be a style of mindless doodling for me took off in a new direction when paired with the letters and their meaning. The feeling of Bonzing radiates outward in warm waves splashing against each other and riding off into infinity.”

The Super Fatty was born and bred, in and for, the streets of San Francisco. The Bonzing team created this board for skating everything--smash downhills, curbs, sidewalks, driveways, transition and anything in your path. Shaper: Austin Graziano + Dead Fred Austin says, “This shape arose as an improvement from a previous skateboard we made named the Little Fatty. Dead Fred killed the Little Fatty. Literally,he skated the board so hard that he managed to build a bonzing wall of death that consisted of broken Little Fatty’s and skate tickets. The Super Fatty has a nose for stalls and riding fakie, a nice big tail and stiffness for downhill. This downhill double kick is great for skating everything.” Artist: Chad Lybrand + Dead Fred Fred says, “This board is bonzing because the idea and concept of this board was bred in the hills of San Francisco. This graphic is bonzing because it is in your face and screaming get some. It’s epic, sexy, and beautiful at the same time.” Chad Lybrand says,”The Super Fatty is bonzing because there are a couple different things that contributed to making this board a reality. Dead Fred challenged me as an artist. Fred and I love listening to metal music and over 2 years ago we began imagining the most metal skateboard graphic.

Super Fatty

This is the first skateboard we created and it is all about style. The board gets its name from the boards artwork--stijl in dutch means style and the artwork on the board is inspired by the Dutch art movement “De Stijl.”

“I wanted to create a board that was easy to carry around San Francisco but could also handle the steep hills of San Francisco. The skateboard is lightweight, easy to carry, has a snappy responsive feel and a large wheelbase to handle the hills. Ride it concave or convex, its perfect for campus, commuting and cruising.

“When I first saw the Piet Mondrian collection in person it hit me. The simple lines, bold colors and clean look pulled me in. Piet Mondrian was a leader in the “De Stijl” art movement and the artwork on the board reflects his array of artwork from the beginning of his life to the end of his days.”

Stijl - Style

OSO Top-Mount

Let the big bear roar! The OSO Drop-Through is a downhill freeride deck. It is a symmetrical board and with it comes a symmetrical name. The OSO’s graphic features 2 large bears and OSO in Spanish means bear.

“I received alot of feed back from alot people about this board. The symmetrical shape is great for freeriding and it is at home going fast.The OSO has a generous, deep and quite beautiful concave that will keep you locked in when getting sideways. The concave does not feel cramped, is lively in the flats and is one of the most awesome parts of the board.“

“We got together to tell a story of skateboarding, California, and Bonzing. We shared our experiences to create what we have today. It captures the raw beauty and diversity of California and skateboarding. The sun and moon dichotomy gave us a chance to play with the juxtaposition we find in our lives and also the balance skateboarding provides.”

One of the most fun parts about the Urban Shred Sled is the lurker tails, which increases the board’s durability while giving plenty of pop and play.”

Johnny Guitar Watson, “gave indulgence new meaning” and “he found a little funk in everything.” Johnny said, “Funk is funny. Funk is looking at the world and saying, ‘It ain’t what is seems. It ain’t what it should be. It ain’t what I expected. It’s funky.’”

“ I decided to press the boards with a stained bottom ply and screen-print graphic instead of other applications. The stained bottom ply is stained at the mill and their process gives a rich deep color that varies from deck to deck and it makes each skateboard unique and different.”
