Process Heating Process Boiler
Requirements:•Thisrebateisavailabletoindustrialend-usecustomers
whomanufactureasaleableproducttypicallyinNAICScodes31-33,butotherNAICScodesmayapply.
•Applicationmustincludethemanufacturer’snameandmodelname/numberfortheequipment.
•InstallationaddressmusthaveacommercialnaturalgasaccountwithPG&E.
Exclusions:Boilersusedprimarilyfordomestichotwater,spaceconditioning,poolsorspasdonotqualifyforthisrebate.
Carefully read the specifications below to ensure that you are installing qualifying products. All PG&E incentives apply towards the purchase of new or replacement energy-efficient equipment. Used orrebuilt equipment is not eligible, and customers must include proof that the appliances meet all the required energy efficiency specifications. Please note that funding for these programs is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis until allocated funds are exhausted or the program ends, whichever comes first. This program may be modified or terminated without prior notice, and additional terms and conditions apply.

• Replacement of process water boiler with new boiler.
• Must have a combustion test under full-load conditions to document achieving a minimum combustion efficiency of 85% or better, as well as an input rating of < 10,000 MBtu/h.
• Replacement of process steam boiler with new boiler.
• Must have a combustion test under full-load conditions to document achieving a minimum combustion efficiency of 83% or better, as well as an input rating of < 10,000 MBtu/h.

Ozone Laundry System
Requirements:•Customermusthaveanaturalgas-firedboilerornatural
gaswaterheaterthatsupplieshotwatertotheon-premiselaundryequipment.
•Thisrebateonlyappliestothefollowingtypesoffacilitieswithon-premiselaundryoperations:
§Hotelsandmotelswithfewerthan250guestrooms.
§Fitnessandrecreationalsportscenters.
•Theozonelaundrysystemmustbeanew,purchasedproductandmustbeaddedontoaneworexistingcommercialwashingmachine.
•TheozonelaundrysystemmusttransferozoneintothewaterthroughVenturiInjectionorbubblediffusion.
•InstallationaddressmusthaveacommercialnaturalgasaccountwithPG&E.
Electric Heat Pump Water Heaters
Requirements:•ElectricstoragewaterheatermusthaveanEnergyFactor

•ForIndustrialLow-PressureSteamTraps(RebateCodeH201)andIndustrialHigh-PressureSteamTraps(RebateCodeH202),thefollowingconditionsmustbemet:
§Mustreplaceafailedindustrialsteamtrap.
§Facilitieswithless than 100existingindustrialsteamtrapsatagivenlocationmustfilloutapre-installationdatasheet.Toreceivethedatasheet,pleasecontactyourPG&EAccountRepresentativeorcallourBusinessCustomerServiceCenter1-800-468-4743.

•Thepipesmusttransferfluiddirectlyfromgas-firedequipmentandinsulationmaterials/accessoriesmustbeinstalledaccordingtomanufacturerinstructions.
•Applicationmustincludethemanufacturer’sname,insulationmaterialtypeandmaterialK-valuerating.
•InstallationaddressmusthaveacommercialnaturalgasaccountwithPG&E.Onlycustomeraccountswithannualuseoflessthan250,000thermsqualify.
Exclusions:•Pipewithpre-existinginsulationdoesnotqualify,and
thisrebatecannotbeusedforthereplacementofoldordamagedinsulation.
•CaliforniaBuildingEnergyEfficiencyStandards(Title24),Section123,establishesrequirementsforpipeinsulationinthedesignandinstallationofspace-conditioningandservicewaterheatingsystemsandequipment.Anypiperequiringinsulationaccordingtothesestandardsdoesnotqualifyforarebate.Detailsareavailableatwww.energy.ca.gov/title24.
•Pipeinsulationforexposedsteamandhot-waterpipeswithin7feetofthefloorthatarenototherwiseguardedinsuchmannerastopreventcontactdoesnotqualifyforrebate.OccupationalSafetyandHealthAdministration(OSHA)standardsrequirethatexposed,heatedsurfacesbecoveredtopreventinjury.
