These are really getting scarce and this is a nice one. The Dakar was the off road version of thestandard F650GS and it features a taller and narrower front wheel and far more suspension travel. TheDakar moniker is a homage to BMW’s 4 Paris-Dakar motorcycle victories. These are known as beingthe most well rounded dual sports bikes due to their superior on road manners. Others are pretendersto the Dakar throne. It’s fully road legal, and features a tried and true fuel injected and water cooled50hp 650cc single of Rotax origin. This one features BMWs ABS brake system as well. We justinstalled a fresh battery, a new set of tires, new fuel pump and did a full bi-annual service. This onedoes come with a set of BMW expandable side case that do have some cosmetic challenges to thealuminum covers but function as they should.

Regularly serviced and well cared for this bike was owned by a multi-bike customer andwas recently traded, along with a K1200GT, on a new 2011 R1200GS Adventure. The demo ride convinced me to get the R 1200 RT instead of the F800 ST, so that is a great thing that you provide the opportunity to try out different bikes. I really don't seehow other dealerships and bike brands can get away with not offering that service.

Another clean RT previously sold at Bob’s. This clean RT features ABS brakes, heated hand grips, radioprep (antenna), BMW System side cases (with large lids!) and top trunk with backrest pad (keyed tomatch ignition), a power operated Cee Bailey mid-height screen, clear front turn signal lenses, frontfender extender, along with two accessory outlets and an almost new BMW tank bag. We justcompleted an annual service and it received a 36K and bi-annual service with alternator belt and fuelfilter and installed a fresh set of Metzler Z6 tires in 2010 at 40K. Cosmetically it looks great. This is areally nice RT and fully serviced - why risk private sale when you know it's been gone through by thebest. This bike is extremely nice and well equipped with all-day ergonomics and tons of power out ofBMW’s 164hp transverse water cooled 4 run through a 6 speed ‘box and para-lever suspended shaftdrive. It also features BMW’s innovative duo-lever front suspension. We rarely see these anymore andthis is a special one, act fast and be one of the few.

If an RT is just too much around town but you still want theability to tour the F800ST is the answer and this bike is kitted out to do the job.

It weighs in 423lbs dry, makes 150hp @ 9,250rpms (we dyno’d it atour Sport bike day with Hopps Cycle on a Dyno Jet2 and it pulled 128hp to the rear wheel!) out of therenowned Testastreeta twin, has a 5.3 gallon tank, a 6 speed ‘box, ABS brakes, an Ohlins 48mm frontend and rear fully adjustable Ohlins electronic mono-shock. It also features 8way and customizableDTC (traction control), a 60mm adjustable front screen, Bosch-Brembo defeatable ABS brakes, 2-12Vaccessory outlets, and HID, halogen and LED lighting. One of the coolest features is the keylessignition, very trick. This bike features Ducati side cases, with top case, mount and rear rack (neverinstalled), a spare Extreme Auto HID conversion kit new in box, and side case protectors neverinstalled. This is an amazing value for one of the hottest bikes on the market – ACT FAST on this one.

This outfit belonged to Mike Traynor, the incredible man who, along with his wife Diane, founded thePediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and the Ride for Kids program. Mike was looking forward tomaking this his personal rig, but due to his untimely death last September, the work was halted as itbegan. Please Note: The mileage listed on each motorcycle is the mileage at time of intake. Bob's offers a demo ride program onalmost all used bikes in inventory so mileage will vary at time of sale. Sometime the mileage can be 100's of miles different andwhile we endeavor to list accurate mileage it is a guide for the approximate mileage on the bike. Actual mileage will be listed atthe time of sale.

Just TWO requirements: 1) that you have a clear title in your possession, and 2.) you have atleast one key to give us. It's that simple.
Our customers are eager for used bikes at every price level. Sure, we want clean, late modelbikes, but even if you think your old ride isn’t worth anything, you've got nothing to loose bybringing it in so we can at least have a look and tell you what it’s worth to us. If you can't deliverthe bike, we can, within reason, arrange to have it picked up.
