Safe travel from the very first journey. BMW has done a great deal of research and development to help your children travel safely, right from their first journey. The result is BMW’s own unique range of child safety seats. As your child grows, the Junior Seats I-II can be adapted to meet the changing requirements of weight and body size. The seats are designed to give the maximum comfort for young travellers and are upholstered in soft, durable and fully washable materials. For the greatest possible safety, the BMW Baby Seat 0+ and Junior Seat I-II are also available with the ISOFIX

facility, connecting them securely to the car’s bodyshell.

Make the right choice. Because it’s vital to choose exactly the right product for your child’s age and weight, BMW has produced

a separate brochure displaying the full selection of child safety seating.

BMW Trackstar

BMW Trackstar is a small covert electronic device installed in you vehicle which utilises state of the art technology such as GPS, GSM and an integrated motion detector in order to accurately locate your vehicle should it be stolen.

Whether you report a theft or the Trackstar Control Room contact you to advise you of possible illegal movement, the unit is activated and tracking can commence. The BMW Trackstar operator can contact the relevant Police force immediately, and relay accurate positional information, increasing the chance of a rapid recovery.

BMW Trackstar attracts full Thatcham Quality Accreditation (TQA).

BMW Trackstar 5

The BMW Trackstar 5 unit operates in the same way as the BMW Trackstar unit but incorporates the added benefit of a Driver Authentication Device (DAD).

If the DAD is present the BMW Trackstar 5 unit can detect if the person driving the vehicle is authorised to do so, there for in the event of a theft where the thief does not have the DAD, an alert can be generated.

BMW Trackstar 5 attracts full Thatcham Category 5 Accreditation.

BMW Smartnav

Once you have had BMW Trackstar installed you have the option to upgrade to include BMW Smartnav. BMW Smartnav will guide you intelligently, avoiding traffic jams, hold-ups and all kinds of other fustrations.
