Forcemains and Gravity SystemsLong hydraulic retention times in forcemains and gravity systems can cause odor issues. Delivering dissolved oxygen with the SDOX-CS™ into wastewater has been shown to prevent the formation of hydrogen sulfide and resolve odor issues.
Eliminating Hydrogen SulfideHydrogen sulfide is the culprit, and oxygen is the solution. Vapor phase odor treatments that only mask the smell or absorb the gas causing the smell don’t prevent the formation of the corrosion-causing gas in the first-place.
