basis-deutsch A1 and basis-deutsch A2 are consecutivemodules which are designed forlanguage learning at an elementarylevel.

basis-deutsch gives beginnerswithout prior knowledge of Germanthe possibility of learning thelanguage with the help of innova-tive, multi-media based resources.

basis-deutsch is especially wellsuited for blended learning classes. The media-based componentscomplement the attendanceclasses with Schritte internationaland allow students a gentle startto e-learning. The attendance classelement decreases from 80% to50% at level A2/2.

The topics and the progression inbasis-deutsch are oriented on theCommon European Framework ofReference for languages (CEFR)and can, therefore, be combinedwell with Schritte international.

The exercises follow the contentrequirements of the elementarylevel: real life situations with aneveryday, cultural and interculturalbackground. And leading from this, the necessary means of verbalexpression and appropriate texttypes.

basis-deutsch uses grammaranimations and other onlineresources to make rules visibleand to facilitate self-study.

Because of this, certain exercisesbest suited to self-study can betaken out of the classroom – likerepetition or revision, the trainingof specific vocabulary items orlearning by discovery.
