BILO

BILO is a Spanish band formed on the island of the Mediterranean, Mallorca, creating a project with the aim ofcreating something natural without pretensions or kinship making it authentic and fresh. With a formation composedby bassist (Sebastià Grimalt), drummer (Marc Más), guitarist and voice (Driss Stadig) and finally the keyboardplayer (Carlos de Haró).

Since our formation we have been lucky enough to parade through the most important festivals and theaters inMallorca (Tramuntana Rocks and Mallorca Live Festival), last year we took a leap to release our first single "BarelyKnow" from our last E.P. "Mahatma Cartney" performing at the BIME festival and being both mentioned ininternational media as "Rockaxis" (Chile), "WMP" or "Joyride" (Mexico) as in national "Ruta 66", "national radio ofSpain" being finalists of the national contest "Demo Project".

We start from diverse influences that come from the Jazz passing through the psychedelia to the current Lo-Fi orNew Wave, each one has its preferences, tastes, abilities and concerns ... Which produces a particular and ownsound, relatively difficult to define , each song has its particularities and different changes, but recognizable by itselaborate synthesizers, rhythms full of life, catchy guitar phrases and deep bass lines. Which generates our ownsound We are currently presenting our new E.P. "Mahatma Cartney", premiered in March 2018, which is composed ofsongs that bring a breath of fresh air under the creation of compositions full of new and pure sounds that flee fromfiction, doing everything possible to bring our live to the ears of the listeners.
