Swimming Admissions Policy

*Any child under the age of 8 years old regardless of their swimming ability MUST be supervised in the water at all times by a responsible person, aged 16 years and over. Supervision is on the ratio of ONE adult for every TWO children, under 8 years of age.

Public SwimThese sessions are open to all. Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied in the water at all times by an adult aged 16+ (max. 2 children per adult).

Fun SessionA fun packed session with floats. An exciting experience for children of all ages.

Early BirdStart the day with an enjoyable morning swim and get the benefit of a reduced rate. Adults and juniors both welcome.

Lunch Time SwimKeep fit during your lunch hour, with the added incentive of a reduced price. We also offer a 5 4 3 lunch time promotion - purchase 3 swims and get 2 more free!

Slim & SwimSessions consist of up to 60 minutes swimming at your own pace to burn off extra stored calories - with the optional support of a qualified fitness instructor to provide up to 20 minutes muscle toning exercise - helping you to achieve a slimmer you! This is an adults only session.

Adults OnlyFor swimmers aged 16 years + who wish to swim lengths. Lanes where possible will be available for swimmers.

Swimming LessonsIf you would like to learn to swim then there’s no better place to start! Our lessons follow the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS) which is an inclusive programme taking the non swimmer on their own individual aquatic journey.

Aqua AerobicsWe offer various aqua aerobics sessions each tailored for various fitness levels. Active Health Aqua is for those enrolled on our Active Health scheme and Activ+ is for those who have completed the scheme. Aqua Fit and Aqua Zumba are both an excellent conditioning aerobic workout for adults aged 16+. The great thing about aqua aerobics is that the water provides extra resistance, without placing stresses on joints.

Private HireThese sessions are reserved for clubs. If you are interested in booking our pool for private hire, please contact Reception.

School Swimming During term time, Stockton Education Department hire the Activity Pool and 2 lanes of the Main Pool during the week from 9.00am to 3.00pm. Please note 4 lanes of the Main Pool are still available to our Swimmers.
