The Detroit Institute of Arts and DuMouchelle Art Galleries, Co. are giving you the opportunity to support the DIA while adding to your art collection. The Big Art Sale Preview Night Party, October 1, will feature a live auction of approximately 25 exclusive pieces valued between $3,000 and $30,000, as well as pre-bidding on the next night’s items. On October 2, the Big Art Sale opens to all and begins at 6:30 pm. Daytime viewing will be available both days; all events take place at DuMouchelle Art Galleries.

Auction items include donated fine art, such as paintings, sterling silver, sculpture, prints, drawings, photographs, ceramics, jewelry, tapestries, carpets, small-scale furniture, decorative service pieces and crystal.

All auction proceeds support operations at the Detroit Institute of Arts.
