JARED GOFF - LOS ANGELES RAMS The #1 overall pick is in an unusual situation, having been drafted by a an up-and-coming team with a strong defense and weapons at RB and WR. Goff was a gunslinger in college with over 440 pass-attempts his senior year and might have a tough adjustment with the run-heavy Rams.

CARSON WENTZ - PHILADELPHIA EAGLES The Eagles have made it clear that Wentz will not see action in 2016. Bradford is returning as their starting QB, with career back-up Chase Daniel has signed-on to teach Doug Pederson’s offense to the rookie. Wentz may have the brightest future of any QB, but will be worthless in 2016.

PAXTON LYNCH - DENVER BRONCOS The Quarterback quandary continues for the Champs. The Broncos seem comfortable moving forward with Mark Sanchez as their starter; however, the Osweiler-esque Lynch has all the tools to become the starter by mid-season. Keep Lynch in your sights as a FA late-season.

HUNTER HENRY - SAN DIEGO CHARGERS Henry immediately adds athleticism to an offense which favors TEs (see Julius Thomas in 2014). Antonio Gates is the clear starter, but lingering injury concerns means the 2nd-round pick will see a lot of action in 2016. Look for him to quickly eat into Gates’ snaps.

AUSTIN HOOPER - ATLANTA FALCONS The Falcons have struggled to produce a top-tier TE in their system which values blocking over pass-catches ability. The coaches, however, seem intent to give Ryan another viable option in the passing-game and hope to take advantage of double-teams on Jones. Keep an eye on Hooper.

NICK VANNETT - SEATTLE SEAHAWKS This is an interesting pick for the ‘Hawks. Jimmy Graham showed limited production in an injury-shortened 2015, In fact, Graham’s replacement had better numbers. Vannett will see limited action in 2016, but might work his way up the depth-chart should Graham miss time.

EZEKIEL ELLIOTT - DALLAS COWBOYS The former Ohio State star landed in the perfect position with the Dallas Cowboys. Running behind the best line in football, the pedestrian Darren McFadden finished 8th in scoring in 2015. The talented Elliott has a chance to be a break-out player in 2016.

DERRICK HENRY - TENNESSEE TITANS Henry hopes to break a bad streak of former Heisman winners performing poorly in the NFL. The Titans are slowly building their offense, and added DeMarco Murray in the off-season. Henry will likely see split carries all year.

KENNETH DIXON - BALTIMORE RAVENS Dixon finished his career 2nd all-time in RB touchdowns. With Justin Forsett entrenched as the starter in Baltimore, Dixon will look for a role on special teams and as a 3rd-down back. Dixon may eventually be the starter in Baltimore, but this year will mainly be spent on the bench.

JORDAN HOWARD - CHICAGO BEARS Get familiar with the name Jordan Howard, folks. Landing in a John Fox offense that loves to run the ball, Howard and Langford will be a dynamic duo in Chicago. Langford will be the starter for now, but expect the physical Howard to get his share of the goal-line carries.

PAUL PERKINS - NEW YORK GIANTS Perkins is one of the most intriguing rookies in the 2016 class. Perkins is likely already the best back the Giants have had in several years, but 85% of their offense comes out of three WR sets. Perkins could take advantage of the stretched field and become a productive option.

C.J. PROSISE - SEATTLE SEAHAWKS Another intriguing rookie, Prosise is coming off of a productive career for the Irish and lands on a Seahawks team that is looking to return to their rushing dominance. With Lynch officially retired, Prosise and Rawls will share the load in an offense that is quickly becoming one of the bet in football

WIDE RECEIVERS

LAQUON TREADWELL - VIKINGS Treadwell was considered the best overall receiver in the class before breaking his leg in 2014. After an up and down 2015, the rookie is looking to show why he was so highly valued. Widely considered the best blocker in the draft, Treadwell will instantly fit into the Vikes’ offense.

COREY COLEMAN - CLEVELAND BROWNS Coleman is the fastest player in the 2016 class and fits in well to a Cleveland offense that likes to take shots downfield. Questions at QB will likely prevent Coleman from being a starting-caliber fantasy player. Injury is also a concern and his small size is a disadvantage in tight windows.

JOSH DOCTSON - WASHINGTON Dotson is a talented wide-out, but lands in an offense where veterans have the position locked down. Jackson, Moss, and Garcon will be the starters in 2016, but Docton may take-over WR3 with Moss and Garcon’s production on the decline.

WIDE RECEIVERS

MICHAEL THOMAS - NEW ORLEANS SAINTS Thomas was undoubtedly the best WR on the Buckeyes’ roster in 2016 and falls to a Saints team that is looking to regain their offensive dominance. The rookie will likely see the field a far amount, but will fall victim to the Saints’ tendency to spread the ball around.

STERLING SHEPARD - NEW YORK GIANTS Shepard likely landed in the best position for any rookie receiver. The Giants through out of more 3-WR sets than any team in the league and were desperately looking for another talented receiver to open the field for OBJ. Shepard could be a huge boost for an offense late in the year.

WILL FULLER - HOUSTON TEXANS The Texans are hoping to look more like the Bill O’Brien offense of his Patriot days, and the first step is to put weapons around his new QB Osweiler. With Hopkins on the field, Fuller will have plenty of 1-on-1 coverage to take advantage of and will likely become a starter out of camp.
