However, Career Services Coordinator did attend the National Career Pathways Network Conference in Indianapolis where she attended a workshop for Career Pathways Leadership Certification. The Career Services Coordinator also attended the Ohio Two-Year College Career Services Association Conference that focused on Career Services Topics relevant to Ohio. Career and Education Advisor Certification and/or professional development regarding the National Career Development Guidelines (NCDG) framework is still needed.

The Dean of Student Affairs requested a new budget for Career Services based upon the needs outlined in our Career Services Plan. While approximately $7,000 of the request was not granted, the original Career Services budget was increased from $67,779 to $86,955. In addition, some items in the budget were covered by other means within the College. The College applied for the Great Lakes Career Ready Internship Grant. We were a finalist, but in the end, we did not receive the grant.
