The Dean of Student Affairs requested a new budget for Career Services based upon the needs outlined in our Career Services Plan. While approximately $7,000 of the request was not granted, the original Career Services budget was increased from $67,779 to $86,955. In addition, some items in the budget were covered by other means within the College. The College applied for the Great Lakes Career Ready Internship Grant. We were a finalist, but in the end, we did not receive the grant.

Some academic advisor do bring undecided students to Career Services for Career Assessments. Career Services sometimes has students talk to Program Chairs of career paths that students express an interest in. Action Steps Need to Be Taken: Request Report from IS that shows how long undecided students take to decide a major. Request Report from IS that shows the number of times a student changes their majors. Career Assessments are given to undecided students. However, not all undecided students
