The best ways to stay up-to-date about the location changes are:● By calling 215-348-8131 ext. 1160. The voicemail will be updated with

the indoor locations of our campers.● By joining the Doylestown Camp Facebook group here. A member of the

camp leadership team will post the locations of the campers in the group.

● By looking for the orange feather flag labeled “Check in/Check out”. This is moved to the main building, where most of the campers will be.

Keeping CoolThe summer heat is here, and we are continuing to stay cool during the hot summer days. During week 6, the campers were surprised with popsicles, more water play, ice for their water bottles, and a movie in the gymnasium!

Please remember to send your camper with a reusable, labeled water bottle as well as sunscreen to camp each day! If you forget to pack a water bottle, we have reusable ones available for purchase. Please connect with your lead counselor or a member of the Camp Leadership team for more information.

We appreciate your cooperation!

Toys, Electronics, Pokémon Cards, and MoneyIn line with the Camp Parent Handbook, please leave all toys and valuables at home. The Y is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

In order to continue to provide the best summer camp experience, we ask that campers leave their toys and valuables at home. Campers are moving around so often that we do not want objects to break or get lost throughout their day.

Thank you for your cooperation and support!

Fun from the Field

Our Summer Learning camps have been all the fun this summer!

We have had visits from Roxy Therapy Dogs, played with shaving cream to learn math, and so much more! There is one more week of Math camp (designed for campers going into 2nd and 3rd grade) THIS week! Come join us!

Parents/Caregivers, below are examples of open-ended questions to engage your campers:

● Talk to me about your day at camp…

● Tell me about your new friends…

● Teach me what you are learning...
