ע מ-ר י וף א -י ר ק י ע כ ה.40

And they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers,

in their treachery which they committed against Me, and also that

they have walked contrary unto Me.

ץ-ף מא ר א ת י א תא ה י ו ר ק ע ך א ינ א

א ; הי י ת-א א צ רי זו ר ע ה עני ז-

ו ענ.41 also will walk contrary unto them, and bring them into the land of

their enemies; if then perchance their uncircumcised heart be hum-

bled, and they then be paid the punishment of their iniquity;

מ ת א י רכזו-ת א ףו ;ק י יע תי ר -ק ח צי י תי ר

ת א ףו-ר ז א ה ר י תי ר --ר ז א ץ ר הו.42 then will I remember My covenant with Jacob, and also My covenant

with Isaac, and also My covenant with Abraham will I remember and

I will remember the land.

ה ר יהוה ם ,ה מ ח ד טבי ר ש בר א ר ,רר ה ם ע, ו ר ;זן מ-ה הו סר ל, י י . 5 Thus saith YHWH, Cursed is the man that

trusteth in man, and maketh esh his arm, and whose heart departeth

from YHWH. ו בה רשע רע רע הי ה י ,ו הא ר וא י ן ;יבא טב- כ ור ד םי ר ר ב ,חש ה וא ת לח מ ץ רא {ס} 6 For he shall be like a

tamarisk in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall

inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, a salt land and not inhabit-

ed. {S} ז בר יהוה ,ר ה ח טבי ר ש א הוה ; יה י ח, וה בט מ. 7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in YHWH, and whose trust YHWH is.

ח תל על ץ יה ע וה ים- ועל ,מ יו- ר ח ל י יב ה)וא ירא , א ר (יא חם-י יב נן , ש ע ר הל ע הי ג ;וה ת א יד ר תנ י, ב מ וא יי ר תש ע מ. 8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that

spreadeth out its roots by the river, and shall not see when heat

cometh, but its foliage shall be luxuriant; and shall not be anxious in the

year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
