PoroGen will use a US$1 million Emerging Technology Fund loan from MassDevelopment to finance manufacturing equipment, leaseholds and working capital for the new manufacturing facility. PoroGen expects to hire additional engineers and manufacturing technicians to support its expansion. “The MassDevelopment loan will enable us to double the manufacturing capacity and meet the growing demand for energy efficient industrial purification equipment,” said PoroGen president Ben Bikson. PoroGen researches, develops and manufactures its products at two sites in Woburn. Founded to commercialize resistant membranes for filtration, gas separation, and gas liquid transfer, PoroGen’s fastest growing market segment is natural gas. H2O Innovation has taken the decision to pull out of the joint venture because the sales objectives have not been met. The Canadian water treatment solutions company says that H2O Innovation India required a lot of attention and resources with little impact on overall revenues and earnings. H2O Innovation will sell its 49% stake in H2O Innovation India to Visan Holdings and Financial Services Pvt Ltd. Filtration Company BASF divests Industrial Water Management to Degrémont

BASF is selling its Industrial Water Management France

SAS business to water treatment specialist Degrémont, a subsidiary of Suez Environnement.

Degrémont will continue operations at Industrial Water Management’s French production sites in Lyon and La Courneuve.

Canada’s H2O Innovation Inc has decided to withdraw from its
