TANGGAPAN NG PUNUMBAYAN
MENSAHE
Mahalaga ang kamulatan ng mamamayan sa mga impormasyon ukol sa
bawat barangay ng Atimonan. Ang magbigay ng konkreto at angkop na mga
datos ang layunin ng Socio-Economic Profile ng mga Barangay. Ito rin ang
magsisilbing matibay na batayan upang mabalangkas ng Pamahalaang Bayan
ang mga programang pangkaunlaran na ang mamamayan ang higit na
makikinabang.
Ang ating mamamayan ang salamin ng kaunlaran ng bayan kaya ang
progreso ng apatnapu’t dalawang barangay ay pinapahalagahan ng Lokal na
Pamahalaan ng Atimonan. Ang Socio-economic Profile ang testimonya na patuloy
ang pag-unlad ng ating bayan.

KATANGIAN AT INTERPRETASYON SA OPISYAL NA LOGO NG BARANGAY
Ang opisyal na sagisag (logo) ay binubuo ng dalawang hugis bilog, isa(1) sa loob at isa
sa labas. Ang espasyo sa gitna ng dalawang (2) hugis bilog ay nakasulat ang mga
sumusunod:
BARANGAY INACLAGAN – pangalan ng barangay at nakalagay sa itaas na
bahagi ng bilog.
ATIMONAN, QUEZON – pangalan ng bayan at probinsyang nakaksakop sa
barangay sa ibabang bahagi ng hugis bilog.
Ang gitnang bahagi ng nasa loob ng bilog ang mga sumasagisag sa
pagkakakilanlan ng barangay ay ang mga sumusunod:
SINAG NG ARAW nagsisilbing orasan ng mga mamamayan ng Inaclagan
simula sa pag-ultaw, pagtingkad at hanggang sa paglubog ang siyang
tinitingnan upang maging gabay nila o palatandaan para sa panibagong
araw na kanilang tatahakin.
IBON nagsisilbing libangan nila o pangtanggal pagod dahil sa bawat paghuni
nito ay isang kasiyahan at kahalagahan ang kanilang nararamdaman
PALAYAN sumisimbolo sa pangunahing hanapbuhay ng mga mamamayan ng
Barangay Inaclagan
KALABAW nagsisilbing gamit nila para sa kabuhayan
TAO sumisimbolo sa pagiging masipag at may pagkakaisa ang
mamamayan ng Barangay Inaclagan
MANGGA sumisimbolo sa pangunahing produkto ng Barangay
Inaclagan.
Ang pagkilala ay ibinibigay sa mga nag-ambag para sa pagsasa-ayosng opisyal
na sagisag (logo) ng barangay at ito ay ang mga sumusunod:
KGG. ROMEO V. INOY (Punong Barangay) na nagpatupad ng pagkakaroon ng
opisyal na sagisag ang barangay.
KGG. RHIA A. GALAROSA kagawad ng barangay na nagbigay ng kahulugan ng
sagisag.
G. ERIC C. CUNANAN (Kalihim ng Barangay) para sa huling pagsasa-ayos ng
sagisag.
VISION
Isang maunlad at mapayapang pamayanan, pamayana’y handa sa
pagpapayabong ng kaalaman tungo sa higit na kaunlaran.
Makabagong pamamaraan ay maisakatuparan upang umusad sa kakayanan at
umangat sa antas ng kalakalan maging maka diyos, makakalikasan at makatao
MISSION
Matapat na makapagpatupad ng lideratong pantay-pantay ang pagtingin sa
mamamayan. Mahusay na aka pagbigay ng serbisyong nararapat makamtan ng
mga nasasakupan. Maiagapay ang kabataan tungo sa maayos na hinaharap.
Magkaroon ng resposibilidad na makahanap ng pagkukunan ng kabuhayan
upang maiangat ang antas ng buhay ng mga mamamayan.
1. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
KASAYSAYAN NG BARANGAY INACLAGAN
Ang nayon ng inaclagan kung ating ihahambing sa mga nayong bumubuo
ng Bayan ng Atimonan ay ito ay maliit lamang.May lawak na lupaing 331.1543
hektarya ay may apat na sitio.
Ang malaking bahagi ng nayon ay bulubundukin sa gawing mga
karatig nayon ng Montes Balaon,Manggalayan at Tagbakin.Napapagitan ito ng ilog
ng ilog sa karatig nayon ng Sapaan.Humigit kumulang ay apat at kalahating
kilometro buhat sa Poblasyon.Ang bulubundukin maliban sa maliliit na pirasong
gubat at ilang kaingin ay pawing niyugan.Gayundin ang mga bahaging kapatagan
ay natatamnan ng mga puno maliban sa hindi lubhang kalakihang tubigan o
palayan.Dito ay may maliit na ilog at mangilang-ngilang sapat na dinadaluyan ng
tubig na kung dumarating ang tag-init ay nawawalan na ng agos.Dahil dito ang
maliit na palayan ay umaasa sa patak ng ulan na biyaya ng panahon.
Ang alamat ng pagkatatag ng Inaclagan sang-ayon sa isang
matandain at mapaniwalain,ang nayong ito ay nabou sa pinagsama-samang
magkakaratig na sitio.
SITIO SANTO ANGEL
Ayon sa matatanda sa pook na ito ay may nangyari. Maraming tao
ang nakasaksi sa pagpapakita sa kanilang paniniwala ay isang angel.Dahil dito,at
mula noon,ang lugar na ito ay tinaguriang santo angel.
SITIO CAPSA
Noong unang panahon,may matandang nagkuwento.Ayon sa kanya
siya ay nakakita ng isang kapre na naliligo habang siya ay nagsasalok ng
tubig.Dahil sa kumalat na kwento tungkol sa kapreng naliligo sa batis o
sapa,simula noon ang lugar na ito ay tinawag na kapsa sa kalaunan ng panahon.
SITIO RIMAS
Sa buong nayon ng Inaclagan,sa lugar na ito nakatagpo ng isang uri
ng puno na kung tawagin ay rimas lamang. Napakatagal na ng punong ito mula ng
ito ay itanim ng nuno pa ng mga Amador. Hanggang sa kasalukuyan ay ito ay
buhay pa at patuloy na nagbibigay ng masaganang bunga.Kung kaya ang lugar na
ito ay tinawag na sitio rimas.
SITIO BAGACAY
Sa pasalin-salin ng kuwento noong dakong una sa lugar na ito knug
maganda ang panahon sa gabi ay natatawag ng pansin ng mga tao dahil sa liwanag
sa kabundukan.Ito raw ay malaking baga na nagbabantay at umaakay sa
ginto.Dahil dito ay natanyag at tinawag ang lugar na ito na sitio bagacay.
Ito ay humigit kumulang ang naging simula ng nayon ng Inaclagan
na hanggang sa ngayon ay patuloy na umuunlad sa takbo ng panahon.
2. PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Barangay Inaclagan is one of the inner Barangay of Atimonan, located at about 5 kilometers away from the town’s poblacion. It is 3 kilometers away from the Maharlika Highway, bounded on the north by Barangay San Isidro, on the South by Barangay Montes Balaon, on the East by Barangay Sapaan and on the west by Barangay Manggalayan Labak.
It has a total land area of 33.1543 hectares per record of the Municipal Assessors Office composed of four Sitios; Bagacay, Capsa, Sto. Angel and Rimas. Topography of the barangay is mostly Mountainous to plain. Almost 64 % of the land is Agricultural. Definitive data were specified below:

3. SOCIO-ECONOMIC SECTOR
RHU Survey of population 2014, showed that Barangay Inaclagan had a population of 528 with a computed population growth rate of 0.50%. There are more male than female, with age distribution revealing 68.75% of the total population belongs to ages 10-59 years old; 17.61% under 1 year old to 9 years old and 13.64% belonging to 60 years old and above. This shows that Barangay Inaclagan working population is greater than dependent population.
School going population (pre-school, elementary, secondary and college) is computed
at 37.12% of the total population and the most common religion is Roman Catholic and
Iglesia ni Cristo.

3.2. GENERAL ECONOMIC PROFILE
64 % or 212 hectares area of the barangay is devoted to agriculture. Major crops are rice
and copra. There is no existing irrigation system that contributed to the limited production of
farm products. Some of the populace are leaned to poultry production for additional source of
income.
