Bamboo Skateboards is an ecologically-based skateboard brand and manufacturer of high quality skateboards and longboards made of sustainable bamboo from managed forests. We are social entrepreneurs who believe that giving back to our communities is as equally important as profits. We service core shops, brands, and individuals around the globe while providing a solidified partnership and unique experience with each. We have been a part of action sports and skateboarding our whole lives and now passionately hope to inspire others to take actionable steps towards preserving our natural environment.

At the ASR (Action Sports Retail) show, Bamboo Skateboards was recognized as a top innovator by ASI (Action Sports Innovators). They have also been featured on NBC, FOX5, and CW6 news broadcasts across the country as well as receiving major publicity with Transworld and Fuel TV. In addition Bamboo Skateboards has been recently been featured in Ecotistic Magazine, Concrete Wave, and TransWorld Business. In December 2011, two of our skaters placed highly at TAMPA AM, and in April 2012 one of our riders placed 12th at PHOENIX AM.

Giving back to the community is an integral part of who Bamboo Skateboards is. We officially launched the “One Deck at a Time” program in 2012 and since then, many decks have been supplied to at-risk youth. In addition to our own programs, we support many charities and organizations through fundraisers, deck sales, and partnerships such as the ones below.

PARTNERSHIPSIn addition to the many charities the Bamboo Skateboards supports, we try and partner with other environmentally focused businesses in the area. In the summer of 2012 we teamed up with Eqo, Odina, Art of Board, and a few other environmental action sports companies to host the first ever “Green Zone” at Surf Expo in Florida. There was a great turn out and interest in our efforts so we hope this prompts the green movement to become more prevalent in the events to come!
