If you said yes to even one question, you need to assign key players from your staff to ABA Committees today.

The American Bakers Association has a variety of committees that work to promote the interests of the wholesalebaking industry before the United States Congress, state officials and federal agencies. Committee members and theABA staff help to ensure that the legislative and regulatory needs of the baking industry are met and that the bakingindustry’s voice is heard and recognized in Washington.

ABA strongly encourages its member companies to actively participate in the Committee process. Committeemembers have the opportunity to hear from members of Congress, federal regulators and technology experts. Thisexposure gives ABA members first-hand information and prepares them to take action in the workplace. At committeemeetings, open forums allow attendees to freely exchange information and advise one another on how to meet com-pliance demands in their facilities. Committee participation truly benefits not only individual companies, but thebaking industry as a whole.

ABA is a member-driven association. Each member company needs to fully participate in order to strengthen the industryand have an impact on the critical policy and industry issues. We need your input on the issues that directly impactyour business. Active meeting participation is strongly recommended. ABA communicates through its committees vitalinformation that you need to know specific to the different sectors of your business.
