BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT

Parents are invited to “Back To School Night” at 7:00 p.m. on the dates indicated.

Wednesday, September 3 – Grades K, 1, 2Thursday, September 4 – Grades 3, 4, 5

Our purpose on this evening is for teachers to discuss with parents the classroom routine for a typical day and the curriculum to be taught in each of the subject areas on that particular grade level. This evening is for all parents, not just those parents with students new to Quarry Hill this year.

Special area teachers, as listed below, will be here at 7:00 p.m. at the locations indicated to meet with parents. At 7:25 p.m., we will convene in the cafeteria for my remarks and an introduction of all staff members. Afterwards, all staff will be dismissed to their classrooms/offices. Mrs. McNamara and Mr. Blundi, PTO Co-Presidents, will then conduct a very short PTO Meeting. At the end of the PTO Meeting, parents will assemble in their child’s classroom for the brief teacher presentation. The following specialists will be here on both Wednesday, September 3 and Thursday, September 4:

This is not a time for conferring with the teacher regarding your child(ren)’s progress; however, you are welcome to schedule an appointment to do so at a future date.
