Preposition can be used to show where something is located. Prepositions: on ,near ,next ,across

Structure:s+ v to be +preposition + noun.

For example

On:

We use on to show position on a horizontal or vertical surface.

The pencil is on the book.

We also use on to show position on streets,roads, etc.

For example:

There’s a supermarket on Jackson Street.

Next

We use next to show position on left or right of somebody or something.

There’s a store next to supermarket where you can rent movies.

We use across to show position on the other side

For example:

Near

We use near to show position that close to somewhere or something.
