ground. A $250,000 flight simulator replicating a Boeing 737NG aircraft has landed at Mawson

Lakes Campus for pilot training, as well as safety management and navigation exercises for aviation

students. Experience the view from the cockpit, with a 180 degree wrap-around curve screen and high fidelity visuals that simulate real flying conditions. Understand

how both the body and mind react during flights and high-pressure scenarios.

The Qantas Group Future Pilot Program is an opportunity for high-performing aviation students to engage with industry and really take off with their career.

Participants will have access to training, mentoring and networking with Qantas pilots, and after completing the program will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced QantasLink pilot as a First Officer.

With the demand for pilots expected to increase exponentially in the next 20 years, this gives students an important advantage as they take to the skies with an internationally renowned airline.

Study South Australia’s only aviation degree and take the first steps towards becoming a commercial airline pilot. Gain fundamental knowledge in aerodynamics, meteorology, navigation, flight planning, human factors, risk and safety management, and aircraft performance. You will also develop strong communication and leadership skills. Access state-of-the-art technologies on campus, including a $250,000 flight simulator replicating the Boeing 737NG. Study theory and practice at the same time and commence flight training from second year under the supervision of highly experienced instructors.Note: Practical flight training is taught through the Graduate Diploma in Aviation (LGAN), which is studied concurrently with the Bachelor of Aviation (Pilot) (LBAN) from second year. The flight training courses are delivered by FTA at the UniSA Aviation Academy based at Parafield Airport. Applications for LGAN are made after commencement of LBAN and selection criteria applies.
