Depending on the author, arcles can be: entry level, experience-required, execuve, specific to a segment of the readership, or advanced. Praconers sharing real experiences are greatly appreciated. Providers sharing industry perspecves are equally valuable. Examples of topics include soſtware licensing processes, final disposion how-tos, IT technology advancements, project results, working with other departments such as finance, regional and global focused arcles, selecng vendors and working with service management. Arcles that are relevant to a specific segment of the readership are welcome. For example, arcles on IT related government requirements, ITAM in the insurance industry, hiring qualified staff or managing an organizaon in transion are all good topics. Details Arcles should be at least 900 words in a WORD document in English and without elaborate formang. Authors can make suggesons for tles and subtles and provide graphics for arcles if they wish (not required). Arcles should be sent to [email protected] or to Jenny Schuchert at [email protected]. A signed copy of page 3 must be faxed into IAITAM or sent directly to Jenny. Arcles can be sent in at any me and on any topic. Arcles over 1,500 words will be considered for the cover. Arcles received by the 15th of the prior month will appear in the next ITAK issue unless it is a specialty issue (see calendar on the next page). However, well thought-out opinions that sr discussion and controversy or that differ from IAITAM's perspecve are welcome. Article Submission Requirements All article submissions should be saved in .docx, .rtf, or .txt format and at least 900 words. In addition to placing graphics in the article,

graphics must be sent as a separate file in high resolution and as a .gif, .pub, .jpg.

ITAK editors reserve the right to correct any spelling or grammar (including simplifying sentence structures), to lay out the article and modify the title and subtitle without notification to author.

ITAK editors work directly with the authors if material modifications are needed. The author is required to supply both direct phone and email contact information. If the author or contact person is not available within a 24 hour period, the author then waives his/her right to view modifications before printing.

Author hereby acknowledges and agrees that ITAK and/or IAITAM may reprint the article for future use in ITAK or other media. Reprints by others are prohibited without a written request sent to [email protected] and a subsequent acknowledgement with consent received from IAITAM. Any quotes must be acknowledged via footnote, endnote or parenthetical reference including ITAK, the magazine volume and issue, pages and publisher as IAITAM.

Author hereby acknowledges and agrees that the contribution of the article to ITAK qualifies as a "work made for hire" under 17 U.S.C. § 101(2) and that all copyright ownership of, and authorship rights in, the article, subsequent reprints of the article and ITAK, itself, now and in the future, and any derivatives thereof in the United States and all copyright ownership and authorship rights therein elsewhere throughout the universe shall belong solely to IAITAM pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 201(b).
