EASA Part-66 / UAE CAR-66 Basic refreshing course and examination for Cat B2

Provider: SR Technics, an approved Training school carrying EASA Approval CH.147.0009and UAE CAR 147/11/2009.

Target Group: Cat. B2

Content: This course covers basic elements for the relevant category in accordance with theknowledge level defined in EASA Part-66, appendix 1.

Training includes:• Manuals as per requested modules• Time for self studies in home work• Review seminar to refresh selected modules• During seminar, time to discuss open questions with instructor• Exams under EASA Part 147 and / or UAE CAR 147

• Issue of Exam Certificates per exam if passed.

Prerequisites: Mechanical, electrical or electronically background and/or experience; Cat. A, or equivalentexperience. E.g. FAA licence.

Objectives: Upon completion of the refreshing course, the participant will have knowledge of thetheoretical aspects of the subject in accordance with modularisation and the knowledge levelindicators defined in EASA Part-66, appendix 1.http://www.easa.eu.int/doc/Regulation/reg_2042_2003_Part66.pdf

General: Calculate reasonable time for self-studies of modules to be well prepared for refresher

sessions.Closed book examinations will be conducted for each module.The minimum pass mark for the exam paper is 75 %. For those not passing an exam, a re-sit can be arranged at a later date.(minimum 90 days waiting time)
