Thebiblesaysthatwhenweworship, we must worship in spirit and in truth. The truth is the knowledge of who He is. I do believe that the spirit

of God must be present and evident in our lives in order for us to be deemed a worshiper. We have to know Him in His fullness and in His truth. Without theknowledgeyoucan'tworship in faith. in worship, is a direct result of a mindset in worship. In other words we cannot worship Him without the knowledge of what He has done for us. Once we have amindset,thenwesimplyrespond based upon His goodness. Worship is a response to Him for what He has done for us. Then we begin to shift to a place, after our praise into worship. We shift from one place and then go to the next place, butwe'llneverget there if our mindsets are not therefirst.Imustbeabletorecalltomymind and therefore have I hope as the prophet Jeremiah said. We have to realize it’s of the Lords mercies that we’re not being consumed. What does knowledge, according to Hosea 4:6 mean?

Pastor Vicki: It's the knowledge of what God is call-ing for and our assignment in the earth realm, also the power that is in the word of God. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The knowledge of who God is and how to access the pow-er of God is the key to our Christian

walk.

Pastor Curtis: As you mentioned because of the lack of knowledge my people perish. That's the lack of knowledge of God and the lack of knowledge concerning Gods will. If we're ignorant to what God re-quires, Paul said we go about to estab-lish our own righteousness or what we think, only because we’re ignorant or do not know what God requires.

Is a person responsible for knowledge learned?

Pastor Vicki:I feel that some of it is not that they don’t have knowledge of what God is calling for. But being able and willing to submit to what God says because we all understand that ignorance is not bliss in any area of our lives. That scripture in Hosea goes on to say that people re-jected the knowledge of who God is and what God is calling for. So as they rejected God then God re-jected them. God wants us to know who He is, know what He’s calling for and then submit to the call of God on our lives.

Pastor Curtis: Along with what Vicki just said I’d just like to also add that I believe it’s a trick of the enemy to cause us not to want to gain knowledge because with knowledge there is power, blessings

and assignment and if the enemy can keep us, through fear or whatever means he has to keep us from knowledge he will do it. The enemy may say well if you know that then you’re required of that, and yes that is true, but the benefit of knowing outweighs the benefit of not knowing. Yes we are responsible for the things that God has for us in His word and I think it’s just a ploy of the enemy to try and get us not to gain knowledge. Once we gain knowledge and begin to operate in the things of God there is a blessing in knowing.

Pastor Vicki: And along with that John 8:32 says ye shall know the truth and the will make you free. So the enemy doesn’t want us to have knowledge of God be-cause in that we are free from sickness, sin and the works of the enemy.

How can one get good God centered knowl-edge?

Pastor Vicki: First of all, one must be born again and in being born again, receiving the Holy Spirit on the inside of you, the bible declares that it will lead you into all truth. We also must adhere to and submit to God first and to leadership because He doesn’t leave His people without leaders. If you trace it down through his-tory God has always had a leader from Moses on. He’s always had men that He designates and or-dained to lead His people and another trick of the enemy is that fact that he does not want you to sub-mit to leadership.

You were created with purpose and destiny. I want to tell you from experience that God can make whole what was torn apart. Some people who have experienced brokenness at least once in their lifetime sometimes feel there is no hope. I want to tell you there is hope for you. Thousand and thousands of young ladies are raped every hour, molested every minute and attempt suicide every second.

God is so incredibly awesome and amazing that only he can make all things new. I searched all over and I could not find anyone like God. I searched in drugs, alcohol and men and I sunk into a deep depression. I thought the world was empty of good people because of how I viewed myself.

When you receive God into your life he causes you to look different. I’m not speaking of just the physical aspect of who you are but how you view things. God will cause your perspective of life to change. God showed me how he would use my many years of pain for ministry and if I had stayed in the depressed state that I was in, I would not be able to minister to you today.

We’ve got to learn to see our purpose behind the pain instead of holding on to unforgiveness and becoming bitter. God is able to make a bitter person a better person and I am a witness to this fact. God saved me when I was 16 years old. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired and needed a serious change to happen or I would have attempted to commit suicide for the fourth time and would have succeeded.

I was molested for three years straight and it totally changed the scope of my life. I found myself feeling so different in school. I felt as if I were all alone with no one to talk to. My molester threatened me and told me he would kill me if I told someone what he was doing, so it immediately made me very fearful.

I felt like everyone was staring at me in class, talking about how dirty I was for allowing this man to touch me. They didn’t know what was going on but from my point of view I thought they knew everything. I became very isolated within my own skin. I felt like I couldn’t trust anyone and that all the boys around me wanted to do the same thing. This man who did this to me for three years lived in our home as a boyfriend to my mom. He told my aunts’ boyfriends and they tried to touch me as well.

I have learned over the past 12 years that God can save anyone. I was a mother at the age of 14, molested for three years, tried to attempt suicide three times and was abducted and raped when my daughter was only six months. If God saved me, surely he can save you.

First, I would like to say that demons and imps fall into the same group, but fallen angels are in a class by themselves. Now, in order to understand the difference between demons, imps and fallen angels, we must first be made to understand “The Gap Theory”.

What is the “Gap Theory”? Glad you asked! Most theologians have come to agree that God in giving us the Bible was only concerned for our sakes about the events from Adam and Eve, the fall, the redemption in Christ and finally the restoration of the earth back to the conditions before the fall do to the sacrifice of Jesus the Christ.

Nevertheless, the Bible gives us hints of a world that existed before Adam and Eve.

The revelation that we have now come to understand, is that between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2, there is a “Gap of time” up to billions of years! These two scriptures don’t necessarily run consecutively as once believed.

Millions of years (Satan’s kingdom before his rebellion and fall from heaven)

Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

What does this have to do with our subject? Well, we have to understand that the

Bible clearly teaches us where fallen Angels came from. They were part of the rebellion of Satan and according to scripture they are in chains awaiting judgment by the believers (Rev. 12:4; I Cor. 6:3; Jude 1:6)!

Satan is the only fallen angel that we know of that temporarily is not chained. Why? Because when Adam sinned he temporarily handed the title deed of the earth and therefore dominion over the earth to Satan! He now has a legal right to be here. In Matt. 4:9, Satan tells Jesus that if he would worship him (Satan), then he would give Jesus the kingdoms of the world. He got them from Adam and it would not have been a real temptation if he didn’t have them to give.

Q. What is the difference between demons, imps and fallen angels?

Yet, we do know that Jesus death and resurrection was the beginning of taking back what Adam forfeited through his disobedience.

Therefore, if the angels that rebelled are in hell (or some place under the earth) awaiting judgment, then they are not the demons the Bible speaks of that exist in this fallen world today! So, where did they come from? The answer is best understood that they are the dis-embodied spirits of a race of people that was destroyed during Satan’s rebellion on the “original earth” of Genesis 1:1!

Notice that in Genesis 1:1 it says that God created the heavens and the earth! Then Genesis 1:2 says and the earth was without form and void…. Now the Hebrew word for “was” in Genesis 1:2 is the word “became or become”, and the word void is “empty” or vain. In other words, after God created the heaven and earth in Genesis 1:1, something happened that made it (original earth) become without form and void (empty)! And the “Gap Theory” suggests that there is a time gap between these

two verses. Therefore, there was a civilization that existed that was judged and it caused the earth to become what it was in Genesis 1:2. Thus, the rest of the scriptures are not the first creation, but a re-creation, a reversal of the judgment that plunged the earth into this watery chaotic state as described in Genesis 1:2.

We now know from Isaiah 45:18 that God didn’t create the earth in the original state formless and void:

Isa 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

Please understand from Isa. 45:18 God said that when he created the heaven and the earth, that he created it not in vain. The word vain means empty! Does this contradict Genesis 1:2? No! Because, it became empty, it wasn’t made that way as we pointed out earlier!

Now, let’s prove that Satan had a kingdom on earth before his fall. First, note that when Satan was using the serpent in the Garden of Eden to tempt Eve, this would prove that he was fallen before the “restoration of the earth” recorded in Genesis. He only wanted the earth back from Adam because he once ruled and rained in it, but that wasn’t enough for him, he wanted to be like God and led a rebellion slandering God on earth to the people on it and to the angels!

In Isaiah 14:12-14 we see that Satan dwelled below the clouds and wanted to go past the stars to exalt his throne above God’s but he was cast down in judgment. Jesus said he saw Satan cast out like lightning (Luke 10:18). In Ezek. 28:18 it mentions what Satan did before his attempt to go up to heaven and rebel. According to Dake’s annotated reference Bible pg. 1440; the Hebrew word traffic is rekullah.

I am not rushing through the month of August; however, August is the month when children, parents, and educators prepare for the new school year. An important part of the back-to-school regimen is vaccination and immunization. Vaccines are effective because they prevent diseases. Vaccines contain the same virus that causes the disease; however, they have been killed or weakened so that you do not become sick. An example of this is the measles vaccine.
