Basic Trainingfundamental knowledge at CNS/ATM environment
CH: 22 days D: ca. 50 daystheoretical examination
Qualification Training5 Domains: Communication, Navigation, Surveillance, Data Processing, System Monitoring & Control (SMC)
CH: ca. 20 days per domain
theoretical and practical examination
CH: Training is individual adapted according needs. Mainly external courses at manufacturer of universities

Competency and ResponsibilityThe best and sustainable solution to guarantee balance between competency and responsibility is a national or supra-national based personal license issued by the CAA like it is practiced at other safety related professions in aviation like pilot, ATCO, AC-Maintenance.
Industrial standardapproved since many yearsissued by responsibility authority and not an ANSPpersonel license is in difference to a certificate of competence a permission to execute SRT’s. This permission can be revoked if needed, whereas the competency (knowhow, skills and expierence) are kept by the individual.personal ATSEP License is well used, Word- and European wide
