OBJECTIVES:

Be oriented with the Guidelines on Assessment & Rating of Learning Outcomes under the K to 12 BEC;

Gain deeper understanding on the new classroom assessment policies under DepED Order No. 8, s. 2015; and

Appreciate the philosophy of standards based assessment in the implementation of the K to 12 BEC.

CLASSROOM ASSESSMENT

Classroom Assessment is an integral part of curriculum implementation.

It allows the teachers to track and measure learners progress and to adjust instruction accordingly.

Classroom assessment informs the learners, as well as their parents and guardians, of their progress.
