Every year Krochet Kids changes the lives of hundreds of Ugandans. After years

of living in refugee camps and relying purely on donations and aid from outside

organizations, women expressed the desire to break the restraints of poverty.

That’s where Krochet Kids jumped in. They taught these women how to

chrochet to earn an honest fair wage. Now, these women can rejoice in a

life of inancial independency knowing they can provide a better life for

themselves and their children and perminent home isn’t so far out of

For Dry Skin:

Wash impurities off your face with a gentle cleanser. Cleansing bars such as AMBI® Cocoa Butter Bar, AMBI® Complexion Cleansing Bar, or AMBI® Black Bar Soap are great options.

Use of a facial moisturizer with SPF not only protects your skin from potential sun damage, but also helps to prevent the dark marks from reappearing. Use AMBI® Daily Moisturizer with broad spectrum SPF 30 every day after cleansing to protect your skin.

Know your skin type! To help get rid of dark marks use AMBI® Fade Cream Normal. If you have more oily skin, there’s also AMBI® Fade Cream Oily just for you. Apply the treatment directly to dark marks twice daily. Your dark marks should show signs of improvement in as little as 2 weeks.

Remove extra oil from your face with a deep cleanser. Use AMBI® Foaming Cleanser, which contains Salicylic Acid, to penetrate deep and cleanse your pores. Regular cleansing is a must to maintain your beautiful brown skin.

Natural oils are the main source of breakout problems, but you could be contributing too! Look for products that say “Doesn’t Clog Pores” or “Oil-free.” AMBI® Daily Moisturizer with broad spectrum SPF 30 is an oil-free moisturizer that won’t clog your pores and is gentile enough for even sensitive skin.

Depending on your skin type, exfoliate your face 2-3 times per week to help slough off dead skin cells. AMBI® Exfoliating Wash is designed for skin of color to help prevent breakouts and keep skin tone even. Use it to keep your skin soft, smooth, and blemish-free.

Use a light soap that won’t overdry your skin. AMBI® Cocoa Butter Cleansing Bar and AMBI® Complexion Cleansing Bar are two soaps formulated for skin of color to wash away impurities without overdrying.

Last but not least, you may need more water! Remember to drink several glasses of water each day to make sure there’s enough moisture to go around. This is especially important in the dry winter months. Also, avoid rubbing and scratching dry areas of skin.
