A NOTE FROM PASTOR SCOTT….

Now that spring is here and we have celebrated the death

and resurrection of our Lord, we are reminded of the won-

derful transformation that comes through the new life

that Jesus has birthed in us. These past couple of months

we have experienced some amazing moments of great wor-

ship, salvations, spiritual growth and partnering in ministry.

These things are all apart of God’s design because He re-

minds us in Revelation 21:5 "I am making everything new!" God’s ultimate plan for His creation is to make all things

new and that renewing process Jesus has birthed in us

with His resurrection power. God is so good to us! Let’s

continue to join hands with Jesus to see all things being

made new in hearts and lives in Laurel and the surrounding

communities.

LWC NEWS

Children's Ministry is THRIVING. God is seeing us through times of transi-

tion and He is so good! We had a great Family Life Night in March...You've

been EGGED! Families were "scrambling" around the church hunting for

eggs trying to be the first one back to collect the prize. There was so much

energy here that night with the bounce house, egg hunt for the little ones,

snack shop, and worship. You won't want to miss our next FLN.

We just finished up Conflict Kitchen/Is Peace Possible?

Our Bible verse was

“So let us do all we can to live in peace. And let us work hard to build each

other up.” Romans 14:19

This is something that we are striving for in Children's Ministry and praying that this will be a church wide goal.

A lot of work has been done but there is more to be done. Great big

thanks to all who have worked, given, donated and supported the

Makeover Project! We need to finish raising the remainder of the

$20,000 goal to help finish the project. Will you believe God, pray
