Aphasia Camp Mission

· Have a holiday in an aphasia-friendly environment · Learn and share with others who are living with aphasia · Experience new or adapted recreational and leisure activities

· Adults with aphasia · Each person may bring up to 2 family members or friends

The retreat will take place at the outdoor setting of:

Activities during the camp may include:

accommodations · Facilities which are both accessible and comfortable

· Shared sleeping arrangements in newly constructed cabins

· Meals included and served in the dining hall

· Parking is available on-site

· Smoking in designated outdoor areas

· Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists and other health professionals

· Students

· Camp Coordinators

· Trained volunteers · Activities will be led by staff or volunteers with special skills (e.g. art, yoga, and etc.).

· Health professionals will lead selected educational activities
