It was not possible within this project to construct a comprehensive information system only the basic framework with sufficient information packages to encourage people to use and contribute to it. The structure of the system is nine folders entitled and covering information on; (1) Wet season vegetables (2) Winter garden vegetables (3) Tropical fruits (4) Ornamental house plants (5) Native food plants (6) Herbs, spices and flavorings (7) Propagating plants (8) Garden design and maintenance (9) Food uses, nutrition and recipes Each folder has some information on subjects related to that folder and specific to Cape York Peninsula conditions. Each folder also has a pictorial poster outlining the types of information in it. This poster is suitable for display and also makes an informative placemat. Other information from practical applications or from internet downloads is encouraged to be added to each folder. In addition to these folders, other folders that contain information in journals, newsletters or ebooks can be added. This system is computer based but is encouraged to be printed and collated into hard copy folders along with posters, books and other hands on material. Roger is constantly adding to the resource – including new materials from recent work he is involved with in the Pacific.
