Come and meet Erica Austin, What Every Child Should Know About Prayer: From a Child’s Point of View’s author. Dressy attire is required for this event. Jeans and tennis shoes are not allowed. Also, youth are asked to partici- pate in the Youth Canned Food Drive Con- test to fight hunger in the communi- ty. The top 6 winners will receive a prize. First Friday in December: The Youth Prayer Dinner will be held on Friday, Decem-ber 5th from 7-9 pm in the Grain of Heaven for 6th thru 12th graders. Come and meet Erica Austin, What Every Child Should Know About Prayer: From a Child’s Point of View’s author. Dressy attire is required for this event. Jeans and tennis shoes are not allowed. ZONES L1 & L3 The Zone L-1 and L-3 Small Group Min-istry invites all Zone L-1 & L-3 members to join us in collecting spiritual & quality children’s books from TODAY through December 14th. Books collected will be donated to The Reading Workshop which promotes early childhood literacy for children age 4-11 and serves a sub-stantial segment of children from disad-vantaged neighborhoods and school districts. Books may be placed in the lobby nook book bin. First Mount Zion Baptist Church is seeking to fill a Director of Small Groups Ministry vacancy. The director identifies, develops, equips, evaluates and disciples small groups coaches and leaders within the church. The director is committed to sharing and implementing the vision of the church by establishing community through small groups. Duties include budget management; program development and evaluation; screening, orientation and ongoing training of servant lead-ers; regular communication with and management of coaches and group leaders; writing and identifying studies, planning and marketing ministry events. The director also develops budgets, policies, procedures and processes governing the implementa-tion, operation and growth of the Small Groups Ministry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in productivity soft-ware; specifically, Outlook, MS Word, Power Point and Excel. Video produc-tion software desired but not re-quired. Must be able to pass a back-ground check, possess a valid driver’s license, work a full time flexible work schedule and be willing to travel.
